In search of great biriyani

We reached Hyderabad Biriyani House on Victoria Road. The fact that the City Corporation struck oil few meters away on Victoria Road, made it a difficult access but on the plus side, there was easy parking thanks to very low traffic.

As I had already eaten in the namesake restaurant on Airport Road with disappointment bordering on disgust, I went in with trepidation. The family room on the first floor didn't inspire much hope of distracting my nine month old while we dined.

However the food arrived fast and My! Was the biriyani delicious! Finger licking good. Certainly among the best I've had in Bangalore. The drumsticks and Kalmi we had as accompaniments were great too, particularly the Kalmi.
